Meet The Family
When we say we're a family business we mean that in a very literal way. Today the store is owned and operated by the children and grandchildren of our founder Lou Sr. You may even find some of the great-grands visiting on any given day during the summers.

A New Generation of Owners
Marisa & Bobby will be the third generation of the DeSimone family to run the family business. Both are the children of Jeannie & Bob and, like their parents & uncle, have grown up in the jewelry industry. Together, they look forward to continuing a family tradition of superior service, an outstanding selection of inventory, and building relationships within the community in the years to come.
The Second Generation of Owners
In 1981 Jeannie, Bob, & Lou Jr. (Lou & Jean's daughter, son-in-law, & son from left to right) expanded on Lou Sr.'s vision and opened a retail store, Cellini Design Jewelers. The three ran the business along side, and more recently in memory of their late parents, staying true to their dream. Together they have grown the business into a community cornerstone. Well known for our beautiful store, oustanding customer service, and warm family atmosphere.
Where It All Started
Louis Sr. opened his small jewelry repair shop in New Haven, CT over 70 years ago with a vision for what it would one day turn into - a thriving buisiness that would take care of his family for generations to come. With that vision in mind he and his wife Jean taught their kids the business and instilled in them the importance of family and a strong work ethic. Togther they were able to turn that dream into a reality and now, three generations later the family business is still thriving.
